At the Shivaganga Betta temple, pure desi ghee rubbed on the main Shiva lingam for five minutes turns into butter. It is done in front of visitors, with nothing hidden. The butter is said to have medicinal properties and is given out as prasad.

The mountain itself is shaped like a Shiva lingam. Anyone can go and see it for themselves.
